Alsiha said “We met when we were both in year 12. Herbie went to St Bedes and I went to Kilbreda. We became boyfriend and girlfriend and the rest is history! Herbie proposed to me out in a little cottage at the woodlands rainforest retreat. There was an open fire, candles everywhere and soft music in the middle of the forest. I was very suss it was going to happen that weekend but for some reason I’m the moment all my suspiciousness left me and I stood there in shock he had to ask twice! I remember feeling like the luckiest girl in the world 🙂 ”
